Mia Staysko

As an interior designer, I have always looked for ways to enhance the living and workspaces of others. Helping clients with a broad range of budgets and design sensibilities has been my goal since the late 1980's.

Though intrigued by Feng Shui over the years, my concern was the cultural differences between Eastern and Western lives, philosophies, and tastes. All of that changed when I discovered Black Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui. Here was a philosophy that I immediately recognized would fit into my clients lives! That was the turning point for me, and a new passion was born.

I am a graduate of the Mount Royal College Interior Design program and have been designing homes and small businesses since 1990. I am a Certified Feng Shui Professional* in Black Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui and a Red Ribbon Professional member of the International Feng Shui Guild*.

A disciple of Grandmaster Professor Thomas Lin Yun, I have also studied with James Jay of Feng Shui Designs Inc, and David Kennedy, author of 'Feng Shui for Dummies'. I also participate in ongoing mentoring with highly respected Feng Shui teacher Katherine Metz.

I live at my lovely home in the country, just South of Calgary with two nearly grown son's, AJ and Nolan, my husband (also nearly grown) Steve, and my border collie, Brie.
